About Audrey

IMG_0229_jpg.jpeg

Audrey Hamilton is a digital photographer. She grew up on a 22-acre farm and in Endfield, NY, just outside of Ithaca.  When she wasn’t climbing trees and doing family chores, Audrey loved being a classical ballet dancer and playing Suzuki violin.  She didn’t discover her passion for photography until later in her adult life as she was healing from the passing of her mom in 2015.Over the past few years, Audrey has explored layering macro images from forests and swamplands into abstract works of art.  These creations have a multifaceted affect with brilliant colors. Her first series of abstracts was titled Forest Dreams and it was featured during a guest artist event this March.  â€‹When not playing with abstracts Audrey loves to do dramatic portraits.  This is where she and her models collaborate on wardrobe and styles.  By choice, the outdoors is her studio with unique locations and low light areas for mysterious moods.  Audrey's driving force behind these shoots is for a safe place to support women's creativity and empowerment.  She feels most happy when other women are supported and discovering their possibilities and voice.

Audrey is a '93 alumni of Cazenovia College where she studied Special Education.  Then went to  Marymount College Tarrytown to continue her studies and graduated in '96.
